Hello chapter members.
The chapter has started asking for event sign-ups to specific events. Generally they are events that would be helpful to get enough seating. This does not mean if you don't sign up you can't attend.
In order to RSVP for an event, you must be logged into the web site. This feature is for people that have an account on the web site. Guests and potential members are free to attend any and all events without registration. They can always send an email message to the director to let them know so there is a seat for them.
Once you are logged in, go to the event calendar. Select the event that you are interested in registering for. This will take you to the event details where you will see the location, time, date, and any other details that are available.
At the bottom of this page you will see the RSVP section.
You do not need to add a note unless you have something like "I am going to bring my grand daughter as well". The web site already know who you are because you are logged in.
If you registered and are not going to be able to attend the event, you can come to the same place and cancel your RSVP.
This is not required for all events and registration is not required to attend any specific event. In the weekly message from the director there will be a note about which events have registration enabled.
